In the last few weeks I’ve been made more and more aware that all episodes audio is a lot more silent than the ads that play.
Long story short: I found the issue and I’m actively working to resolve it.
Full explanation:
I learned about “LUFS” recently, which is the industry standard for volume normalization. All of our episodes were made without me knowing about this standard, so all audio is mixed on the basis of my own headphones.
I will be remastering the audio on all currently released episodes to resolve this issue.
For Dread of Night, the first two episodes have already been remastered.
